We’re excited to have a stall at this Saturday’s Love Thornbury event, in partnership with Thornbury in Bloom.
Saturday 17th May 2025
10am to 5pm
Thornbury High Street
This event is really important to us, for two reasons. As a non-profit community organisation, we are embedded within the local community of Thornbury and surrounding areas – something Love Thornbury celebrates. And, like Thornbury in Bloom, we care deeply about the beauty of our local environment and sustaining it for future generations.
CATSA exists to power our community to a brighter climate future. We’ll be sharing information about our purpose and current projects, which include an exciting partnership with Retrofit West. This has enabled us to run a series of Home Energy Surgeries and events over the summer, aimed at helping local residents to make the most of your energy and keep your home warm through the winter.
We’ll have some examples of energy saving technologies to share, as well as tips and tricks for everything from draught proofing your home to finding trusted advice about retrofit projects. But that’s not all we do… we’d also love to talk to you about energy generation! Do you have questions about rooftop solar? Wind or tidal power? Ideas, or perhaps concerns, about what these types of energy generation could mean for our local area? Come and chat with us.
The weather forecast is beautiful, our bags are packed… we’re looking forward to a day on the High Street with some of the other local businesses that make Thornbury so special. Come and meet us!
